the kids cause they were always watching DangerMouse & it rhymes with scouse . Definitely not because of the ears !

Who introduced you to Darts & how long have you been playing?
I have been playing darts for 17 years after a friend asked me to join the pub team

When did you turn 'Professional' and where was you first game after turning Pro?
In 2004 and it was in Ireland, at the UK Open

Do you have a favourite or lucky venue you love playing at?
Newport â?? UK Open qualifiers, usually get good results especially in 2006

Do you get nervous before your match, if so how do you cope with this?
Not really, I used to - but I just have a couple of wines or lagers â?? this seems to stem the nerves!!

What has been your biggest highlight so far?
World Championships 2006 & beating my good friend Kev McDine in the UK Open 2007. Great also having the support of the â??Dartsbabesâ?? in Bolton 2007

Do you have any superstitions?
Odd numbers â?? anything from hotel room numbers to leaving finishes

How do you think the game has changed over the years?
Improved because of the involvement of Sky TV & Barry Hearn. Better prize money, gives you something to aim for

Is there anyone else in the game who inspires you & why?
Alan Warriner-Little â?? a good family friend & player

Before darts, what was the worst job you ever did?
Factory work at the Brewery. Currently landscape gardening

Las Vegas - the weather is hot!!

Practice everyday between 4 â?? 6 hours!!
